Midlands Canoe Show
We are pleased to announce the Midlands Canoe Show is now on the calender from 2012 after the success of our whitewater demo day in November 2011, this event is designed to develop paddling in the Midlands area, and encourage more people to get involved in the sport we all love.

GB Team training from team CKT paddler Tom
First full weekend of paddling for the year. I attended my first GB Team training, it was a really good experience, I had training for Squirt boating and K1. Everyone was friendly and supportive and in good spirits.
I have been practising my offside McNasties and Backloops and am hoping to perfect these over time.
On the Saturday afternoon there was a Gladiator of the Sluice competition which I competed in. I came 5th, but would have liked to have done better. The people that scored above me are my GB team mates.
In squirt boating I have been practising my edges and perfecting my downtime.
As the cold weather has now left us (hopefully) and is warming up I will be paddling a lot more.
